Hello, SGV-CAMFT members!

Come get inspired and join in community at TarotArts in South Pasadena, whose owners have been involved in the Tarot community - learning, reading, sharing, and trading - for over 25 years. They have a special love for the cards and believe that the cards have the ability to reveal insights beyond what the conscious mind can perceive and that those insights can be applied to our life’s progress. TarotArts is graciously partnering with SGV-CAMFT to allow us to share how we bring this into our clinical practices.

Are you interested on how to use tarot and oracle cards in your psychotherapy practice? Do you have a personal relationship with tarot and oracle cards and are interested on how to integrate this into your practice? Have you been using these tools for a while and would like to share how you work with them? Join us for a discussion group anchored by three local practitioners who will share their wisdom and frameworks working with these interventions.

We will be meeting in this private space before they open for the day. As they open their doors to the public at noon, you'll want to save time after the event to explore the extensive and exquisite selection of tarot and oracle cards. It would be the perfect opportunity to purchase new tools for your practice or add to you existing card collection.

Interest for this event is high, and space is limited, so don't delay registering before all of the spots are taken!

Goals: This in-person event is designed to be interactive and open for sharing information. Our discussion will be anchored by practitioners actively working within Depth Psychology, Psychodynamic, Imaginal Psychology, Somatic, and Ecopsychology orientations who will provide specific examples of how they use these tools with clients and in their own work as "self as therapist."

Learning Objectives:

1. Learn at least 3 ways Tarot and Oracle cards may be integrated into clinical work.
2. Identify what types of client issues may be suited for this type of work.
3. Collect and disseminate resources.
