Trained at the highly regarded Maple Counseling Center, Andrea Walker, MA, LMFT, has practiced psychotherapy for five and a half years, and has grown her private practice in Pasadena over the last three years. In her practice, Andrea primarily treats adult individuals, but also works with couples, teens, and families. Andrea’s expertise includes treating patients experiencing the following emotional challenges: relationship struggles, grief and loss, difficulty navigating life transitions, substance abuse disorders and anxiety and depression.

In addition, Andrea has extensive training as a group facilitator and is an active member of GPALA, the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles. For five years, Andrea served in various leadership positions on the board of directors of the San Gabriel Valley Chapter of CAMFT, California Association of Marriage Family Therapist. Andrea currently is engaged in a one-year psychoanalytic training program conducted by LAISPS, the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
