At the SGV-CAMFT Curious Clinician Groups you can expect a casual, interesting conversation with other therapists about topics that we encounter in our work together. When you leave a Curious Clinician group, we hope you have felt inspired and have made a friend.

When We Meet

SGV-CAMFT offers two Curious Clinician discussion groups every month. One meeting is held every second Sunday of the month on the East Side, either in Glendora with facilitator Deanna Hudgins, LMFT or Covina with facilitator Joanne Guzman, LMFT. The second monthly meeting is hosted by Michael Mann, LMFT and gathers every third Sunday in Pasadena, CA.

About This Meet-Up

The topic this time will be "Fellowship: Connect, Share and Support." Fellow therapists, associates, and students! Let's connect, share ideas, and support one another. Join us for a casual networking meetup to discuss cases, business practices, or just socialize with fellow professionals in your area. We are social beings—come share your experiences and remember you are never alone on the Eastside!

The 3000 Club is a group designed to support pre-licensed therapists on their journey towards licensure.

What to Expect

At the SGV-CAMFT 3000 club meet-ups you can expect networking opportunities to connect with other pre-licensed therapists, as well as access to a supportive community of licensed therapists who will have the answers to your questions about the licensure process.

When We Meet

SGV-CAMFT is now offering two 3000 Club meetings every month to support pre-licensed therapists on their road to licensure. One monthly meeting is hosted by Joe Girillo, LMFT and is held usually every third weekend of the month in person at varying locations. Our virtual meetings are currently on hold and will resume again soon. Emerald Aueyong will continue her volunteer efforts at LA-CAMFT.

About This Meet-Up

About This Meet-Up

Join us at Ethera SGV for a collaborative workshop focused on building and refining your online presence as a therapist in private practice. This gathering is designed to be a practical, low-pressure space to cowork, exchange ideas, and receive support while working on materials such as Psychology Today profiles, websites, bios, SEO keywords, and other aspects of your professional online presence.

We’ll begin with a brief discussion around authenticity, visibility, and strategies, followed by dedicated coworking and feedback time. Attendees are encouraged to bring laptops, drafts, questions, or works-in-progress they would like to spend time updating during the session.

Whether you’re just getting started or revisiting your current platforms, this workshop is intended to offer community, accountability, and practical support while navigating the realities of building a private practice online.
